Xantrex Xanbus Network Installation

This manual for use by qualified personnel only
• Network terminators — the Xantrex Xanbus network must be properly
terminated at each to ensure the communication signal quality on the
network. If the network is not properly terminated, signal quality is degraded
and performance on the network is reduced. Permanent configuration
without terminators is not supported by Schneider Electric. The Xantrex XW
Series and other Xantrex Xanbus-enabled devices ship with one terminator
already installed. Depending on your network layout, this terminator may
need to be removed and inserted into another device elsewhere in the
network.
Ordering Network Components
Table 3-1 provides a partial list of network components and part numbers.
Ready-made cables are available in standard lengths from 3 feet to 75 feet.
